The Great Unknown | Sarah Geronimo Ft. Hale

Here I am
Sitting on the floor
Wondering what it is I’m looking for
Waiting for, waiting for a sign
A sign that I am yours and you are mine

The glowing shimmer of your summer skin
And the sun shines brightly on your eyes
Treading lightly, where do I begin
Stars align with your doe-eyed smile
My souls alight with your secret smile

You’ve been on my mind
Sealed, delivered and signed
Scared of the fall
Do I risk it all
Or maybe I’m afraid of the great unknown

I LOVE Sarah Geronimo and Hale (so much). Hearing them in one song is just so serene for me. Can someone teach me how to play this song and let’s sing together? Feeler.

Say You Won’t Let Go | James Arthur

Then you smiled over your shoulder
For a minute I was stone cold sober
I pulled you closer to my chest
And you asked me to stay over
I said, I already told you
I think that you should get some rest

I knew I loved you then
But you’d never know
‘Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go
I knew I needed you
But I never showed
But I wanna stay with you
Until we’re grey and old
Just say you won’t let go

Marry Me | Jason Derulo

A hundred and five is the number that comes to my head.
When I think of all the years I wanna be with you.
Wake up every morning with you in my bed.
That’s precisely what I plan to do.

And you know one of these days when I get my money right.
Buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life.
We’ll forever be in love, so there ain’t no need to rush.
But one day I won’t be able to ask you loud enough.

I’ll say, “Will you marry me?”
I swear that I will mean it
I’ll say, “Will you marry me?”

This is my feel good song of the month. I don’t know but when it plays, it burst magic that lifts my bad vibes away.

Leap Of Faith | Hale

Another day, another normal day
And this is my head start
Stuck for an hour
Gone by the minute
I thought I saw a spark

A leap of faith so unexpectedly
I never saw you coming

I’ll be going home, home
And I’ll see you soon
Go, nice to know you
When will I see you again

Hale is my favorite local band of all time. When I’m in the mood to listen to OPM, there songs are my dose of happy pills.

Fight Song | Rachel Platten

This is my fight song.
Take back my life song.
Prove I’m alright song.
My power’s turned on.
Starting right now I’ll be strong.
I’ll play my fight song.
And I don’t really care if nobody else believes,
‘Cause I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me.

This song really inspires me, more so when Calysta Bevier, 16 years old cancer survivor sang it at America’s Got Talent.

Her performance, which I only watched through youtube, gives me goosebumps and tears. No wonder why Simon Cowell didn’t hesitate to deliver her through the show’s finals. She deserved it not only because of the battle she went through, but its her voice that stunned the audience world wide a voice that comes from the heart and experiences.

I prayed for her success and continuous healing. I look forward in hearing more of her songs in the future. She’ll go far for sure.
